The black masked bandit appearance is striking, and he’s the only cat that we’ve owned that has remained quite slim and athletic.
Sociability: B
Very social with us- likes to be around his people as much as possible. hides at the sound of the doorbell so loses points there. Hard to say how he’d be with other cats - gets very agitated when he sees them out the window, so charitably we interpret this as friendlyness - although his tail tells another story
Usefulness: A
Effective and reliable alarm cat- doesn’t even want food, just you to get up; greets you at the door on your return, just like the greeters at Walmart; excellent hunter of bugs; great at demanding laps to sit on to provide an excuse for not doing chores or any other task that can be put off. These counter-act less useful attributes of producing large volumes of hair around the house and depositing the occasional hair-ball to trap the unwary early morning barefooted
Huggability: B
Generally enjoys being picked up, although resists hugs. Overall though very affectionate and demands chest-sits and head-butts before settling down to sleep at (or on) our feet every night.
